About Elissa

Born and raised in Wales Wisconsin,  the youngest of three.  I started drawing at the young age of seven.  As I grew as an artist in my high school years, I started taking my art more seriously.  

Half way through high school my family moved two hours north to the small town of Coloma Wisconsin.  I then spent many days walking through my parent’s property enjoying the calm of the trees and finding wild lady slippers growing among the pines. 

I had plenty of opportunity to study nature in all its splendor.  As I continued to paint throughout my life, art became a way of expressing my passion for life experiences with my husband and our two children.  Finding adventures in researching subjects I choose to paint and meeting amazing people along the way.  Everyone has stories to tell and every painting I create has a story.  I have four collections of works I am very passionate about growing;
